Driven to create
Some of the best advice I followed in launching my business was to be mindful of its name. “If you put your name on the business,” I was cautioned, “clients will rightfully expect to work, not just with your team, but with you.” And that’s just what I had in mind. Never content to simply manage, I’ve always been driven to create. To solve. To work. So while my network of freelance talent allows me to quickly adapt to a client’s changing needs, working with “Crabtree” will always mean working with “Andy.”
Think of me as your new favorite employee – one who drives results without needing a desk in your building, a space in your parking lot or an invitation to your company picnic (though I do enjoy a good picnic).
With my hands in every project and my enduring commitment to exceeding expectations, Crabtree Ink Creative has earned a reputation for helping clients of all sizes – from those operating on my street to those traded on Wall Street – efficiently and effectively introduce, refresh or elevate their brands through a wide range of creative solutions.
Prior to launching Crabtree Ink Creative, I studied visual communications at Auburn University and earned my first paychecks as an illustrator in children’s publishing before growing to become an art director for The Walt Disney Company, where I learned the intricacies of shepherding – and building upon – one of the most valuable brands on Earth.
Each of those experiences influences my work today, whether I’m serving a local business or a multinational corporation, rebranding a community or engaging fans of an entertainment giant. While I have a special place in my heart for boosting a start-up and helping small-business owners make their mark, I’m equally driven by the challenge of creating within the friendly confines of an established brand. Because it’s not about the size of the project…or client. It’s about the impact of the idea and the execution of the details.
